Directors of Camelot Care Home


Olu and Busayo Oluwakoya are the directors of Camelot Residential Home in Eastbourne with an extensive management background from running YGL Group which operates a successful Domiciliary Care service practice in the south east of London currently employing 70 care staff with 10 frontline staffs.

Olu studied in the UK and qualified with a degree BA in Health and Social Care, Busayo qualified with Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and possesses a Level 3 NVQ in Child and Adult Care.

The above-named directors in Health and are currently undertaking a vocational study in Leadership and Management Level 5 in Health and Social Care. Olu has senior management experience from working with CQC (Care Quality Commission ) the body responsible for assessing the quality of care homes.

Why run a Care Home?

Mr. and Mrs. Oluwakoya have worked in different capacity within the healthcare sector and has been residing in the UK since 2004. Olu states that -- "we bought a care home as we wanted to run a business that made a difference every day.The unique combination of franchising a home care presented fantastic opportunity to do something truly rewarding that makes a difference every day."

The Directors are passionate about their businesses and enjoy working in social care with skills and experience in administering care for the Elderly/Frail Adult, Children and Families, people with Learning disabilities and Mental Health, Autism, and client with Physical disabilities.

Vision for Camelot

Our aim is to continue to provide quality, transparent and devoted services to our residents. We aim to achieve this through the apex of an effective organisation which lies in developing a good business team.

The Camelot care manager Manuela Pouso Castelli was carefully selected, and is a very experienced, versatile, passionate and capable social care manager with good knowledge of how the home runs. The manager is familiar working with our elderly residents within home, and managing clients with dementia, mental health issues or physical disabilities.

Running a residential home requires the utmost attention to care and due diligence to ensure that our residents are provided with the optimum level of comfort in our friendly home. Camelot ensures that we adhere to the standards set forth by the CQC.
